SHIRMS 2012
The first Southern Hemisphere International Rock Mechanics Symposium (SHIRMS) was held in October 2006 in Perth. This covered a wide range of topics in rock mechanics and proved to be very successful.
The 2nd SHIRMS is to be held in South Africa during 2012 and promises to follow in the same tradition. The Symposium will be combined with the planned South African Rock Engineering Symposium (SARES 2012)
