  • African Energy to delist from Botswana exchange
    ASX-lsited African Energy Resources (AER) on Friday said it would delist from the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE), as it currently encompassed only 22 shareholders with less than 0.3% of its shares on issue. Listed since October 2011, AER’s directors believed that the administrative costs and related obligations associated with maintaining the BSE listing were no longer justifiable and shareholders in November voted in favour of a delisting.
  • Offtake agreements now cover 60% of Montepuez production – Battery Minerals
    ASX-listed Battery Minerals has signed a binding offtake agreement with Qingdao Black Dragon Graphite for 10 000 t/y of graphite concentrate from its Montepuez project, in Mozambique, for an initial term of three years. This marks the third offtake agreement for the project.
  • BlackEarth celebrates ASX listing, gears up for Madagascar drilling
    ASX-listed BlackEarth is preparing to implement its drilling programme after listing on the Australian bourse on Friday following a $5.45-million initial public offering (IPO) raising. The company is embarking on a 200-hole graphite drill programme at its Maniry graphite project, in Madagascar, in pursuit of a Joint Ore Reserve Committee resource by mid-2018 and to determine the potential magnitude of the project.
