What contribution do you see yourself making to the Young Professionals Council and the SAIMM? :

In line with the YPC mandate and looking into the future of the mining industry in South Africa, I believe that an imperative change in ways of looking at implementing technology is of higher importance now than it was two decades ago. This new way of thinking needs to be channelled to the up and coming engineers in the mining sector.

My exposure to technology added with my education background will benefit the YPC in the sense that I will be able to provide leadership and mentorship to inspiring engineers based on my experience. Apart from being an avid team player, I strive for being a smart-creative thinker and I am an advocate of continuous improvement.
