What contribution do you see yourself making to the SAIMM and Council? :
I am a Professional Engineer, having served as 6th term Council member for ECSA. I am a Fellow of SAIChE and have been invited as a Fellow of the prestigious SAAE. I am also
a UJ FEBE Industrial Advisory Board Member as well as a board of PMI. I am a member of WiMSA and a committee member of First Thursday Mining Club. With my 25 year experience in Mining and Mineral Processing, Specialty Chemicals, Automotive, Manufacturing, Healthtech, ICT and Tech both in Executive and Senior positions allow me to impart my knowledge and experience via Council to have a positive impact on the industry. I already serve on various SAIMM initiatives and have contributed to the Journal extensively over the past decade as well as have been a Johannesburg branch Chair and committee member.
I have an extensive and influential network both locally and globally to allow possible fundraising, collaboration, and participation on local, regional and global levels. I bring diversity, innovative ideas and a fresh perspective and a sincere commitment to uplifting the SAIMM Council as I have already accomplished with PMI, UJ, Stellenbosch, SAIChE and SAIMM at the Johannesburg branch and at other committees of SAIMM.
