background

CFI The road to a new way of rock excavation.

Non-explosive excavation of hard rock has been a key goal of the global mining industry for many decades. Controlled Foam Injection was born out of some of these innovations of the past. New advances in digitalization, materials science and, of course, the social and safety economics driving the industry, will always create new business opportunities. This presentation outlines the developmental route of CFI, the creation of Rock Eater and current progress in the commercialization of the technology with the close collaboration and assistance of United Mining Services (UMS).

When signing in, the guest will need to present their drivers licenses and tell the security they are attending the SAIMM Function at UMS Group Office. Parking will be arranged in front of our building, number 12.
