What contribution do you see yourself making to the Young Professionals Council and the SAIMM?:
Africa has the greatest mineral wealth in the world as such an establishment to beneficiate need to be driven to exploit value of the wealth. If I become part of the YPC I would drive the nurturing initiative, mineral beneficiation and research & development for the industry to be better suited to lead the fourth industrial revolution.

Brief career history:
Highly talented, knowledgeable and resourceful Mining Engineer with eight years of experience in Open Cast and Underground Mining. Minerals/metals covered through my career includes but not limited to gold, nickel and diamond ore bodies, both undeveloped and remnant mining. Currently working as a Short Term Planner for Debswana Diamond Company. Previously employed with Mupane Gold Mining, 100% subsidiary of Galane Gold Ltd. Inspector of Mines with Department of Mines, Ministry of Mineral Resources, Green Technology and Energy, Botswana. I started my postgraduate career with Vale Canada Limited, Manitoba Operations where I spent just over four years as a Mining Engineer in Training covering roles for Production and Capital Planning.
