What contribution do you see yourself making to the Young Professionals Council and the SAIMM? :
Brilliant young people in Africa have astonishing ideas, and sadly they are expiring without being brewed. The connection between such young marginalised aspiring professionals is clearly difficult to grab. Besides furthering the objectives of SAIMM as an organisation, I intend to seek progress in the minerals industry by reducing inequalities, providing opportunities and improved learning experiences.

Brief career history:
Adrian Chinhava is a young social entrepreneur who seeks to enable progress in the world to reduce inequalities. Professionally, he is a mining engineer who has a good eye for cost control and efficiency appraisal in operations in order to drive an organisation towards sustainable development. He has skills in Data Analytics and Project Management. This is evident in the optimization work carried out at Shamva Mine and RioZim Limited (Cam & Motor Mine). He is a non-monetary philanthropist and has worked mostly with Boost Fellowship and South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM). He is the current chairperson of the Young Professionals Council (YPC) of SAIMM and is also responsible for the youth professional development in the minerals industry of Zimbabwe. He is a fellow of YALI, Enactus and Deloitte-IYF Project. He is the co-founder of CeraGlas Tec, Zimbabwe's first glass and ceramic technology company for the construction, medical, research and technology industries and the co-founder of UtanoApp.
