What contribution do you see yourself making to the Young Professionals Council and the SAIMM?:

As a YPC member of SAIMM I see myself encouraging young leaders of tomorrow especially women and girls to take up more careers in STEM particularly in the mining sector. I hope to also bring more awareness towards SAIMM through social media activity particularly on LinkedIn.

Brief career history:

I started my graduate program as a professional in training for Metallurgy in 2021. During this time, I worked 2 years at Sishen mine under the Crushing, DMS and QAQC divisions where I was responsible for ensuring plant stability and working on projects or business improvement. Currently I am based at Kolomela Mine and I am responsible to the Load Out Station to ensure that targets are met and to investigate and implement changes for improvement.
