URANIUM PRODUCTION CONFERENCE
23 - 24 September 2013 - Conference | 25 September - Technical Visit
Windhoek Country Club,Namibia
The world needs energy. Until such time as the large scale utilisation of renewable energy sources have been developed to the extent that they are commercially viable, the world will depend on coal and nuclear sources. Of the two, nuclear is both safer and
environmentally friendlier. Mining in the developed world is declining and there are substantial resources in the developing countries.
The production of nuclear fuels will increasingly come from developing countries and with the shift will come new challenges. The conference will bring together all the role players to create a view of future nuclear fuel mining to enable timely planning of the provision of skills and infrastructure to be performed.
