Diamonds still Sparkling 2016 Conference
14–17 March 2016, Gaborone Convention Centre, Botswana
Being the sixth conference in the series, the Diamonds—still Sparkling Conference targets the full spectrum of the diamond pipeline from exploration through to sales and marketing. The last conference was held in 2013 at Misty Hills, Muldersdrift: the 2016 conference is returning to Botswana which previously hosted in 2010.

Papers are invited on the following topics which are expected to be dealt with during the conference proceedings:
- Geology and exploration
- Mine projects
- Mining, metallurgical and beneficiation technology
- Rough diamond sales and marketing
- Cutting and polishing
- Financial services and industry analysis
- Industry governance and legislation
- Project update
The conference is being organised by The Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and papers are invited for the conference.
Prospective authors are invited to submit titles and abstracts of their papers, in English. The abstracts should be no longer than 500 words and should be submitted to:
