>>> Collaboration Towards Future Mining
GMSG is hosting a Future Mining Forum in Johannesburg on September 20-21 2017, at the Emperors Palace Hotel Casino Convention Resort. Stakeholders from all mining sectors, including mine operation and planning, equipment and manufacturing, software and IT and engineering are invited to attend.
This two-day interactive forum will align the guideline work of GMSG with the priorities and practices of the South African mining industry. Attendees will hear from industry leaders on important industry topics, including digitization and autonomous mining, and learn about current GMSG projects. They will also participate in breakout sessions on how to eliminate innovation roadblocks and drive the industry forward.
Space is limited due to room size, therefore we ask that you please RSVP no later than September 15, 2017 to Gugulethu Charlie at gugu@saimm.co.za
For more information about GMSG forums, contact Heather Ednie at hednie@globalminingstandards.org
Future Mining Forums provide mining stakeholders an opportunity to learn about new and ongoing GMSG projects and partnerships and begin a conversation on how to match them with the priorities of the region. Join us in Johannesburg to hear presentations and take part in breakout sessions regarding GMSG’s latest work in automation, integrated operations, interoperability and underground mining, as well as an introduction on GMSG’s work in cyber security and block chain methodology.
