The MineSafe 2026 conference is dedicated to advancing mining safety, health, innovation, and sustainability, with the goal of recognising excellent work in creating zero harm, future-ready mines. The theme — "Engineering Health, Safety for Sustainable Future-Ready Mines" — reflects a collective commitment to eliminating harm while embracing modernisation, technology, and collaboration. The conference will serve as a knowledge-sharing platform for mining companies, the DMRE, Minerals Council South Africa, labour unions, and health and safety practitioners across the minerals industry.
