About Presenter:

Gideon Slabbert, holds a BEng - Mining Engineering degree. Coming from a mining production background, the past few years of my career has been spent with Maptek, a mining technology company where I have been managing the BlastLogic product in Africa.
Having implemented the BlastLogic system at various sites, I have a unique insight into the digitalisation of the Drill and blast process, the associated challenges experienced with going digital and the worthwhile benefits observed by multiple mining clients.
