SAIMM’s Re-Imagining Diversity and Inclusion 2026 Showcase, held on 12 May 2026, brought together leaders, members and industry voices to celebrate progress, participation and meaningful action towards a more inclusive mining and metallurgy sector.
The showcase highlighted the work of SAIMM’s revitalised Diversity and Inclusion Committee, creating a platform for dialogue, collaboration and recognition of individuals and organisations helping to shape a more equitable industry.

The event also saw the official launch of “Voices of Change”, a Diversity and Inclusion podcast series featured on The Crucible, SAIMM’s official podcast platform. Developed by the SAIMM Diversity and Inclusion Committee, the series will explore conversations on diversity, inclusion, leadership and transformation, while amplifying voices that inspire meaningful industry change.
