BACKGROUND

The Renewable Solutions for Energy Intensive Industry Colloquium will take place on 22–23 June at Kathu, Northern Cape Province. Come get a preview of some of the topics that will be discussed by attending the Renewable Solutions Breakfast, which will showcase solar thermal technology solutions, at Mintek, Randburg, on 9 March. The Renewable Solutions Breakfast will include the following topics:

  • International research on solar thermal applications in minerals processing, with a focus on the PREMA project, L. Hockaday (Mintek, PREMA project).
  • The value of concentrating solar technologies to mining and minerals processing, Abengoa
